so i just uploaded my video for my contest and this is how it's gonna go down...

1. Video entry must be 10:00 minutes or less and showcase a Harry Potter inspired theme of either makeup, clothes, hair, or anything really! (only one please)

3. Contest is open from NOW until September 15th at 11:59pm EST
4. Open to everyone in the entire world 13+ years of age with parental permission
5. Title the video "PrettifulMakup Contest Entry - Harry Potter Inspired Look"

Upcoming Videos
Hey blog,
so i just wanted to give you a heads up and tell you a little about the videos i plan to film very soon. i think that after i do a massive back to school haul either this weekend or the beginning of next week then i will do an organizational/back to school tips and tricks/what's in my school bag video. i am a neat freak so hopefully what i film can help all of you who are going back to school whether it be high school or college. i also want to have another contest but i still need to iron out the details of what i will be giving away and what i want you to do to enter. i may have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places with 3 different prizes. all i know is that the 1st place winner will be very happy and will be going back to school with a ton of new things! the 2nd and 3rd places might be just an "enter me" comment of some sort but the 1st place will have to be a video entry. anyway when i do my back to school haul i will probably pick up some stuff for 2nd and 3rd place but i have a feeling i know exactly what to get for 1st place. keep in touch for this contest, i should be announcing it by the end of next week! ok well that's all the news for now. byeeee loviessss :)

Day 2 of Shape-ups Review
hi bloggy blog,
today i wore my Skechers Shape-ups to school and i walked around campus all day long. man do these things work! my legs were sore when i finally got the chance to sit down. my legs also felt more sore after i got home and took the sneakers off. so far these sneakers are delivering everything they promise and i am really happy with my purchase. i plan on wearing these to school pretty much everyday :) well that's it for nowsies. byeeee loviessss

Skechers Shape-ups Review
hi blog,
so i decided to go ahead and get the Skechers Shape-ups today and my first impression is that they are really comfortable sneakers that will definitely tone and tighten my legs. i walked around the house after i got home and i started noticing a difference in how my muscles worked as i just walked normal. after about a few hours at home just walking around like normal, doing laundry, taking the dog outside, getting the mail, taking out the trash, i noticed that my calves were working harder then they normally would either barefoot or in flip flops (like i had on earlier before i went out and bought shape-ups). so already there was a difference. maybe this is the placebo effect and i will have to further investigate this claim but tomorrow i am wearing them to school and walking around campus all day so that may be the test :) the sneakers are super comfortable and the little mini workouts you can do in them while you are standing still are pretty intense if you do them correctly. the mini workouts feature rocking motions of the feet, either together or opposite movements in an alternating fashion. the calf muscles are targeted right off the bat and i hope that i feel it in my upper leg and buttocks tomorrow walking around all day. here are a couple of pictures of the Skechers Shape-ups :)

Favorite New Nail Polish

i have a fun little tidbit to share with you today. i just found my new favorite nail polish from e.l.f. that i got a while back but never tried until today. i am pleasantly surprised with e.l.f. polishes, just so long as you have a good base and top coat. i used the sally hansen ultimate shield. i think that color is really pretty, it's called "champagne". i had to take off my "minty" by revlon because i can't wear that color at work but this is such a nice neutral that i don't think it will be a problem :) well off to get ready! byeeee loviesss

First Post
Hi Blog,
this is a start to yet another blog that i never keep up with (hopefully not this time though). i am really going to tried my hardest to actually keep up with this because i really do enjoy documenting things going on with my life, with me, makeup, good finds, steals, deals, and the spinning wheels....hehe that sounded funny so i left it :) anywhoooooo on to the good stuff...i will be reuploading so older posts on my old blog so that everything is in one place, because i really did have some good blog posts, i just never kept up because the website was always so slow and i would hate having to wait for my the stupid thing to load : / yeah so welcome to my beauty and health and style blog. i love makeup, i love clothes, i love shopping, and i really want to share with you all of that and what i do :) please sub and if you would like i have a youtube where i show you tutorials, hauls, ootd (outfits of the day) and lots of other fun little things. i will elaborate more on my videos here, on this blog, so watch the video then come here and read more about it! sounds fun! yea! so subscribe because it really would make my day! i do this all for the greater good of my fashionistas or fashionistos (can that be a word?) out there! ok byeeee lovies!
